I intend to see and review 10-15 of these films. There may be clashes or overlaps in the schedule, which will require me to choose between films, and there may be days where I am unable to see any films at all. Still, I do intend to see: Norwegian Wood, Sleeping Beauty, Take Shelter, The Tree of Life, Armadillo, Cedar Rapids, Elite Squad: The Enemy Within, Even The Rain, Hanna, HERE, Jane Eyre, Kill List, Martha Marcy May Marlene, The Beaver, The Guard, The Troll Hunter, Three and Win Win.

  1. Great post! I don't think this year will have many great films, but I could not be more excited about The Tree of Life!

  2. Thanks Matt! There is at least one or two films I wouldn't mind seeing every day. In addition to The Tree of Life, Sleeping Beauty is another Cannes Film appearing. I have been looking forward to seeing Hanna, Jane Eyre, Cedar Rapids and Win Win. I'm not too interested in The Beaver, but lots of people are anticipating it, so I'll likely check it out. I have heard great things about Armadillo, and The Troll Hunter just looks awesome. I don't think it has the depth of last year perhaps, but it will sure make for a busy couple of weeks for me!
